To tackle this issue, ReferOn, the data-first affiliate management platform, has rolled out its new native Audit Logs feature. Now live as a standard, platform-wide update for all existing and new clients, this release establishes a centralised, traceable ledger of all system activity.
The feature gathers every action taken across the entire platform into a single, searchable dashboard. Whether tracking a modified reward plan or a newly created payment method, administrators can quickly identify the exact user behind any system modification, the precise timestamp of the event, and the origin of the update.
Built for enterprise security and high-volume operations, the Audit Logs interface keeps the platform fast and responsive. Administrators can configure search parameters before pulling data, avoiding system lag. Users can easily isolate platform activity by any of the 130+ system-defined actions, HTTP request methods, or individual managers and affiliates. For targeted compliance reviews, a dedicated setup panel narrows results down using specific identifiers, such as Partner, Company, Media item, Affiliate group, Marketing source, Fixed fee, or Payment IDs.
Selecting any entry opens a detailed view that provides complete backend visibility. This panel displays precise timing metrics (including exact event creation and logging timestamps) alongside full user attribution linking the action to a specific username, User ID, and active Session ID.
For deeper investigations, the system maps the Request and Geo context, detailing the exact network route, URL, IP address, and location down to the specific city. Administrators can also inspect the raw JSON data payload line-by-line to verify structural changes, with the option to export the filtered ledger into a CSV file for external audits.
By providing the precise details of every system modification, ReferOn eliminates operational ambiguity. Operators can trace any administrative action back to its source in seconds, allowing them to rapidly resolve partner disputes, streamline compliance reviews, and maintain total data integrity across all brands.
