Rapidly-expanding iGaming Group appoint experienced law expert to lead the company’s legal function and further support its international operations & expansion
LCKY Group, the innovative iGaming company responsible for powering a number of award-winning online casinos in regulated markets across Europe and North America, has announced that it has appointed Neil Chetcuti to the role of General Counsel.
Having started his legal career in private practice before moving in-house with a local law firm and swiftly progressing to the position of Senior Associate in 2018, Neil subsequently spent over six years with Gaming Innovation Group, where he acquired extensive iGaming experience across commercial, corporate and regulatory matters in his key function as GiG’s Senior Legal Counsel.
More recently, Neil served as Head of Legal at Sportingtech Ltd, where he was tasked with overseeing a broad range of strategic and commercial requirements while also supporting the business across its international operations, acquiring a skill-set that marked him out as the perfect candidate to take on a similar set of responsibilities in his new position with LCKY Group.
As group General Counsel, Neil will now draw on more than 10 years of legal experience, including eight specialising exclusively within the iGaming industry. He will provide support to all branches of the business as it continues to expand in regulated markets globally, while also leading the company’s legal function to ensure that it complies with all relevant local regulation.
With LCKY Group currently overseeing a portfolio of eight international casino brands, including the recently acquired RoyalCasino, Neil will certainly have plenty in his in-tray to get started on, but it’s a challenge he’s looking forward to.
