Eagles vs. Bears Odds & Best Bets for Monday Night Football

The Chicago Bears host the Philadelphia Eagles tonight on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is set for 8:15 ET on ESPN.

The Bears will be without starting quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring), and third-string QB Case Keenum is expected to get the start. Backup Tyson Bagent cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol, but Keenum will reportedly start tonight against the Eagles.

Chicago RB1 D’Andre Swift is expected to have a heavy workload tonight. Swift started the season by running roughshod over Carolina, finishing with 124 yards and three TDs. If the Bears can establish the run with Swift and Kyle Monangai, it will make life easier for Keenum. The 38-year-old journeyman QB hasn’t started a game since 2023, when he appeared in two for the Texans.

Philadelphia enters MNF at 2-0, but the Eagles have yet to find their stride in terms of peak performance. Last week, Philadelphia struggled at Tennessee before a late TD by Darius Cooper lifted it to a 24-20 victory.

The Eagles will be without TE Dallas Goedert (MCL) tonight. He is the team’s biggest red-zone threat. The good news is WR1 Davonta Smith (hamstring) will start tonight without an injury designation. Smith has had a fast start to the season with 13 catches, 170 yards, and a TD.

RB Saquon Barkley (stinger) has yet to thrive behind a questionable offensive line, but he was also cleared to play after suffering a stinger last week at Tennessee.

Without Williams at quarterback, it’s difficult to envision Chicago winning this game. Expect Philadelphia to do just enough to cover as a road favorite.

Best Player Prop for Eagles vs. Bears

D’Andre Swift 1+ Touchdowns (+144)

Without knowing what to expect from Keenum at quarterback, the best path to profitability on a player prop is banking on Swift to find the end zone.

You know the touches will be there, and he is Chicago’s biggest threat near the goal line. To wit: Swift scored a pair of 1-yard rushing touchdowns in the opener against Carolina. He also impressed with a 28-yard TD scamper late in the game.

Last week’s 9-3 loss to Minnesota came in inclement weather conditions at Soldier Field. There’s no rain in the forecast tonight, and conditions are expected to be ideal. Back Swift as an anytime TD scorer on MNF.
