Dak Prescott has fared well against the Commanders his entire career, going 12-3 in games dating back to 2016. Dallas also swept the season series last year, winning and covering this number in each game. Prescott threw for a combined five TDs in those games.
Washington QB Jayden Daniels did not play in the Christmas Day game, but he’s back at full strength early this season. The Commanders need to get WR1 Terry McLaurin involved early on Sunday. He was basically a non-factor against the Eagles with only two catches for 14 yards.
Dallas RB1 Javonte Williams should be busier than last week, when he only had 12 carries against the Giants. With Williams moving the ball on early downs, Prescott can then use his patented play-action to find CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens down the field. McLaurin had a team-high five catches for 63 yards when these teams last met. Expect a big bounce off last week’s performance. He’s got 55 catches for 706 yards and five TDs in 12 games against Dallas. That’s good for a 58.8 average per game.

The Cowboys struggled to stop mobile quarterback Jaxson Dart for the Giants last week. Dart finished with 54 yards on 11 carries.
Daniels is more than capable of beating you with his legs. The former LSU star averaged a shade under 40 yards per game in seven starts last season. When fully healthy as a rookie in 2024, Daniels actually led the team with 819 yards on the ground.
