BETBY will bring its newly launched SlotBets Games category to SBC Summit
BETBY, the Tier 1 B2B sportsbook supplier known for its innovative product approach, will place its recently launched SlotBets Games category and BETBY SlotBets product at the heart of its presence at SBC Summit in Lisbon, where the provider will showcase one of its most ambitious launches to date.
The event will give attendees the opportunity to experience BETBY SlotBets first-hand and learn more about the thinking behind SlotBets Games, a new iGaming content category created to slotify sports betting by transforming real-time sporting action into fast-paced, slot- style gameplay.
As part of its presence at the event, BETBY will host a dedicated SlotBets press conference in Auditorium III, located in the Media Hub area and marked on the official floorplan as the press conference room.
The session will be led by Chris Nikolopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer at BETBY, who will introduce the commercial vision behind the product and conduct a live demonstration of BETBY SlotBets, allowing attendees to see the experience in action.
The press conference will also feature special guests from BETBY’s partner network, who will share their own perspectives on SlotBets, the opportunities they see around the product and how it can fit within different operator strategies.
BETBY SlotBets is built around short betting rounds tied directly to the live sporting action. In SlotBasketball, the first real-sports application, each 15-second round is divided into three five-second windows, with the highest-value event in each period determining one reel. The final combination is therefore created by the match itself rather than RNG, bringing together the unpredictability of real sport with familiar casino mechanics such as reels, winning combinations and multipliers.
The product was developed around one of the industry’s long-standing challenges: the limited natural cross-sell between sportsbook and casino audiences. SlotBets gives casino-first players a familiar and intuitive way to engage with live sports, while offering existing sportsbook users a faster and more continuous form of interaction with the event.
BETBY calls the act of playing slot betting, with the wider SlotBets Games category intended to establish its own recognisable mechanics, terminology and player experience, much like Crash Games developed into a recognised category of their own.
Kirill Nekrasov, Head of Innovation and R&D at BETBY, said: “SlotBets came from a very clear industry problem. Sportsbook and casino often sit next to each other, but the player experience between the two is still very different. We wanted to create something that feels immediately familiar to a casino player while remaining genuinely powered by live sport. That is where the idea of slotifying sports betting came from.
“We believe SlotBets Games has the potential to develop into a recognised category in its own right, much as other distinctive mechanics have evolved into established iGaming categories over time. SBC Summit gives us the perfect opportunity to show operators what that experience looks like in practice.”
That focus on innovation will extend across BETBY’s wider presence at the event. The centre of stand C206 will be transformed into a dedicated innovation hub, where visitors will be able to explore some of BETBY’s most distinctive products, such as BETBY Games and BETBY Predictions, alongside BETBY SlotBets.
The concept reflects BETBY’s wider product philosophy of identifying real gaps in the sportsbook experience and building practical solutions around operator and player needs. Rather than treating innovation as a standalone message, the stand has been designed to make it tangible, giving visitors the opportunity to see products in action and discuss them directly with the teams behind their development.
SlotBets will naturally take centre stage, but the hub will also showcase other areas where BETBY has taken a different approach to established sportsbook challenges, reinforcing its position as one of the industry’s most innovation-driven suppliers.
